Ok... Here it is
1.) Change Sniper Rifles Labeled To High Power "Bolt Action" Snipers Rifles.
Not Really Sure One the Damage and All but It Would have a lower Rate Of Fire, (like it does now, only a Little more)
but a Bit More Damage. Mag Size Should remain the Same... also increased X Mag on the Scope.
...
and Then
2.) Change Tac. Sniper Rifles, to Medium Damage Semi-Auto, Kinda Like they all are now.. but slightly more, and lower the base damage... also change the Scope upon them to a Acog. or 2x zoom or Something Comparable
Anyway Examples...

As for the bolt action idea, that's pretty much how the charge sniper functions already. Greater damage in exchange for more time between shots. Why add another that does basically the same thing? Ignorant ? buddy I was O358, in the Marines. The M-14 is and will Always be considered a Sniper Rifle... It's use during 1950's - 1970's, it was replaced with the m-39. which i am familiar. They Both Fire the 7.62x Round The M-39 Is By Far Better.. but The M-14 still Sees Use today.. and I was a DM, and SDM. I Know what I'm Talking about Bud. OH let me explain DM For you a little more THE DM OR SDM (Squad), Is responsible for engaging At Targets in an excess Of 500+ or More Yards, and go through Specialize Training Similar to that Of a Sniper.. and They are Also Considered a Sniper But not "True" Snipers... anyway we are Talking about the Weapons... As for bolt-actions being "satisfying", we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. When it comes to real life rifles, I'll take a semi-auto like the PSG1 over a tired old bolt-action, but that's just me. In New Eden, though, bolt-action weapons would be so outdated and impractical, it's laughable. Why not put in a muzzle-loading musket?
Guess i'm Just Old Fashion.. But i'm More One Round to Put Target Down... Psg-1 is a fine Fire-arm I've had the privilege of Firing it as well.
However It Lack Stopping Power. its Muzzle velocity Peaks at about... 850 m/s, and only Effective at 700 meters. after that its ****... you see the Psg-1 is the Law Enforcer's Weapon Designed for Urban or Metropolitan Areas where Range Is Usually about 100-300 meters.. it wasn't Designed To be fired outside of that. its Semi-Auto Function is Known to use a Roller delay Feedback. but its locks up from time to time, and while its Mag Feed and ammo Cap its great as well as its accuracy, it was Designed To be a Bigger Version Of a G3, also Lets not forget its Alot More Expensive to produce.. Also Maintenance is Harsher, Less moving Parts, Less Scope Variety, Damages Brass, Weighs more,Larger Visible Profile, more Likely To damage The Rifle... These are Some of the Problems Of the G3 and Semi-Auto Sniper Rifles, and Rifles in General.
Now.. i'm am picking my to Compare it to a Bolt-Action Well.. Lets see i'll go with my Favorite that i've got experience on ....
The Lovely M-40A3 Well Lets Start with Its Muzzle Velocity Its Variable From about 750- 900 Depends upon the Round. But Its Effective Range is Between 900-1153 Meters, It uses The Same Rounds as The PSG-1, However.. Its more Reality,not To mention Ohh idk..Quieter action, Can fire-form custom brass, Better for suppression, Little-to-no blow-back, Lighter!!!! , Smaller visible profile, Close-long range engagement capabilities, oh also Better follow-through at longer ranges no secondary recoil due to a moving bolt, so the rifle will be more still..., More precise/accurate at longer ranges, Able to free-float barrel, Oh and a Very Big ONE LESS EXPENSIVE.... OH and way Easier Maintenance, And Brass Policing Doesn't Send it 20 feet away... unlike Semi-auto.
You can Keep Your Semi-auto..
